The Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA) is your voice and monitor at all levels of government through a full-time Director of Government & Public Affairs and a contract lobbyist. They work on everything that affects the pool business in legislation, codes, standards, regulation and enforcement by staying active in all areas of government..
- Legislative: Active presence during the legislative session and monitoring of state and federal legislation affecting the pool industry.
- Regulatory: Attendance at monthly CILB meetings, working with the Department of Health on pool and spa issues, maintaining an active presence with the Florida Building Commission and the Building Officials Association of Florida, and helping Chapters work with local building departments and licensing boards.
- Codes and Standards: Actively participate in developing and rewriting codes and national standards for swimming pools and spas.
