Pool builder or installer.  $960 annually.  Monthly ACH of $80 available.

Service: $493-$960

Service, maintenance, repair, leak detection, retail store.

  • Small (3 or fewer people/subs): $493 / monthly ACH of $41.25 available
  • Large (4+ people/subs or retail store): $960 / monthly ACH of $80 available)

Trade Partner: $493-$960

Licensed trades (solar, paver, subs, electric, engineer, architect).

  • Small (3 or fewer people/subs): $493 / monthly ACH of $41.25 available
  • Large (4+ people/subs or retail store): $960 / monthly ACH of $80 available)

Industry Partner: $960

Other companies with members as customers (insurance, advertising, education).  $960 annually.  Monthly ACH of $80 available.

Supplier: $1,525-$2,775

Manufacturers, distributors, and manufacturer’s reps.

  • White Supplier: $1,525
  • Blue Supplier: $2,775
    Blue Supplier category members are eligible for an FSPA member list one time per year, discount on show booth space, discount on print advertising, logo with live links on industry/member website.

Associate: $190

Government, nonprofit.

Additional Locations: $325

Fee per additional Chapter (first company membership is at full price per above schedule).

Retiree: $175

Rates reflect the annual dues and membership fees approved by the FSPA Board of Directors.

Dues payments to the Florida Swimming Pool Association are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Dues payments may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, subject to any exclusion for lobbying activity. The current percentage used for lobbying that is not deductible for income tax is 19%.

Criteria for Membership

Products / Services Used in Pool / Spa Industry

The applicant’s business activities must include those products or services used in the swimming pool and spa industry.

Been in Business for at Least One Year

The company applying for membership shall have been in business for a period of at least one year. For those in their first year of business, a provisional membership application is available.

Properly Licensed and Permitted

The applicant shall hold all necessary and relevant state and local licenses and permits.

Abide by Code of Ethics

The applicant agrees to abide by the Association’s Code of Ethics.

Maintain Insurance

Per Florida statute 61G4-15.003, applicant has obtained and will maintain insurance. Please submit a copy of liability, property and workers’ compensation (or exemption) with application.

Resolve Consumer Complaints

The applicant operates their business in such a way that all significant and legitimate complaints from consumers, whether reported to the FSPA, its local Chapters, a Better Business Bureau, or a government agency, are resolved satisfactorily.

Financially Responsible

The applicant’s business is conducted in a financially responsible manner such that neither the business nor its principals shall have been adjudged guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction during the past three years of any felony or misdemeanor involving business or financial practices.

No FSPA Logo Misuse in 2 Years

Neither the applicant nor its principals shall have misused the FSPA logo during the past two years unless the applicant shall pay proper dues for the year(s) of misuse or make other settlement with FSPA.

Choose a Chapter

The applicant’s membership must be with the Chapter where the applicant’s principal office or place of business is geographically located, unless otherwise agreed to with another Chapter or state office membership is “requested and with the approval of FSPA”. The applicant shall have tendered the appropriate amount in payment for dues.
