John Puetz and Doug Kerns, Lonza Microbial Control, presented the March
10 Chapter meeting program. Topics included pool water chemistry, hot water
chemistry for spas, stains/solutions, specialty products, phosphates, and a
Q&A on local pool and spa problems. The program was well attended with
approximately 50 registrants.
Juhani Koivunen, Red Rhino Leak Detection,
was the lucky winner of the
evenings door prize sponsored by
SCPDistributors
. Hewon a package consisting
of a Taylor test kit, pole, basket and cleaning accessories. Thank you,

for putting together the door prize items that put a
smile on Juhani’s face.
Horizon Pool & Patio
employees clearly were
after the big win of the night. After a show of hands,
Horizon Pool & Patio
had the most attendees
present. They showed strong determination to win
when they reached to the ceiling as their name
was called. The outcome was close and had to be
recounted, but in the end they won narrowly beating
out
