Education volunteers needed
The 2015 Everything Under the Sun

Expo featuring the Orlando Pool
and Spa Show and Solar Energy Show is February 13-14 with continuing
education starting on Thursday, February 12. Continuing education is
a significant element of the annual Show and volunteer monitors play a
crucial role in its success. FSPA invites all FSPA members to volunteer
as a course monitor.
Volunteer ID checkers support course monitors by helping to verify photo
identification of attendees.
Monitor duties and responsibilities include:
•
Arriving at the meeting room prior to start time to ensure that the
speaker is ready and all audio visual needs have been met.
•
Check in attendees who are scheduled to attend the course. This
requires attendees to present a photo ID at the door.
•
Give attendees an evaluation form and copy of the course syllabus.
•
Ensure that the instructor and attendees sign the attendance roster.
•
Read the instructor announcement prior to the class beginning.
•
Monitor seminar times to ensure they begin / end promptly.
•
Collect attendee course tickets as they leave the meeting room.
•
Clear speakers/attendees frommeeting roomwhen course is complete.
•
Monitor the doors so no one arrives late or leaves early.
