FL Building Code, 5th edition, moves
closer to adoption
On November 13 the Florida Building Commission met via phone
to approve for adoption Rule 61G20-1.001, F.A.C., which adopts the
FL Building Code, 5th Edition (2014). This means the actual effective
date of the 5th edition of the Code will most likely be June 30, 2015 -
this date should be finalized at the February Commission meeting.
