is the president of family-owned A.D. Davis
Construction Corp. We need to support one
of our own on this one, meaning someone in
the construction industry, and we knowABC is
supporting Mike Davis as they put something
out about it last month.
Mark your calendars! The annual golf
tournament will be April 24 at Windsor
Parke Golf Course. Watch your faxes and emails for
registration. Also, please begin soliciting donations for
both silent auction items and for raffle prizes. This is
always a big event so register early!
The Chapter is continuing to work with the Department
of Children & Families as well as Safe Kids to provide free door alarms to
families who live in apartment complexes to assist the parents in monitoring
their children. Additionally, we are speaking with a couple organizations about
providing swimming lesson to autistic children. A sad statistic is that autistic
children tend to wander and of those, 92 percent who wander away drown.
Please submit any and all suggestions to the Board for events and classes
you would like to see us offer this coming year. Remember this is your Chapter
and your voice counts.
