Florida Water Products,
have volunteered to coordinate the volleyball picnic
this year. They have some fresh ideas and it sounds like it will be lots of fun.
More information will be available soon.
The new year seems to be off to a fast start for many. That is really good
news. Let’s make 2015 one to remember!

The Tampa Bay Chapter once again made a donation of $250 to Metropolitan
Ministries. This organization helps struggling families and individuals throughout
the year. The Chapter also spent $250 on two “Angel Tree” children.

gave of his time and had a fun time buying gifts for a 10-year-old
boy and 7-year-old girl.
2015 got off to a great start with the Board of Directors Meeting in Gainesville
on January 9-10. Representing your Chapter were
Cathie Alderman, Tim
Converse, Debra Swearingen
and
Jimmy Reed
. The Chapter made a
donation to PIPAC in the amount of $500 and to the Scholarship Fund in the
amount of $1,000.
Tampa will be the host city for the Board Meeting on June 12-13 so please
mark your calendar and plan to attend. This is a good opportunity to see how the
state Board works for you. The Tampa Bay Chapter will be hosting the Friday
evening reception and is planning a two-hour dinner cruise with entertainment
on the Yacht Starship.
We sold all reserved tickets and everyone had a great time at the Tampa
Bay Lightning vs. Edmonton Oilers hockey game on January 15. Everyone
enjoyed refreshments and networking.
Our next Board of Directors Meeting will be Thursday, February 5. It will
be held at 11:30 a.m. at Keith’s Oaks Bar and Grill in Brandon. All members
are invited to attend.
