FSPA members receiving awards
Three FSPAmembers received recognition
in Pleatco’s Perfect Pool Guy/Gal competition.
Mark Mulder of Ocean Blue Pool Services, LLC won the prestigious title of
Pleatco Perfect PoolGuy 2014. “Mark is a great choice, a true unsung hero, an
inspiring industry leader and a dedicated family man,” remarks Howard Smith,
CEO of Pleatco. “If you know Mark at all, you know that with him it’s ALL or
NOTHING! He has become an industry leader in our little corner of the world.
I’m so very proud of my husband for working so hard to support our family!”

Gary Kaplan, Ike’s Carter Pool Companies, Inc., won the Pleatco Industry
Leadership Award 2014. He’s been a great leader as FSPA Broward Chapter
President for over the last five years. “To be one of the winners of the Pleatco
contest is both humbling and is an honor to share with other professionals that
have the same passion for maintaining the safety and sanitary environment
we have the opportunity to provide for all. The platform of this award helps
continue to bring awareness to the importance and the responsibility all pool
professional share.” Commented Gary.
