It is not too soon to start thinking about the upcoming Everything Under the
Sun
sm
Expo, the premier Florida pool show, to be held February 13-14, 2015.
There will be 43 education classes available and volunteers are needed! If
you are taking a class, please volunteer to be an ID checker or a roommonitor.
It was voted at the State Board meeting that a Chapter must have the same
number of volunteers as spaces on the State Board or we will be charged a
fee. For us, we must have five volunteers.
There was a Chapter meeting that was held at the Jacksonville Zoo on
September 18. The Chapter is gathering information on the existing plans and
what can be done to assist the Zoo in re-working the elephant pool’s filtration
system. About 27 Chapter members attended the meeting at the Zoo and
were treated to a special elephant encounter. We also got to visit the sting ray
pool after dark. It was pretty cool to be the only people at the Zoo after dark!

Many of those who attended the PalmBeach Pool & Spa Show on September
24 were heard commenting, “This is the best version of a chapter Table Top I
have been to in years.” Exhibitor space was sold out plus an additional three
tables added to accommodate additional registrants. There were approximately
250 attendees, all leaving the show with a positive experience. The Palm
Beach Chapter is planning to grow the size of the 2015 show due to the huge
success in 2014. We appreciate and thank all the exhibitors and attendees
for your support at this event and throughout the 2014 season.
