swim lessons. The program is a partnership
between the Gulf Coast, the Sarasota County
School system, SKY, and Charlotte County
(North Port) Y’s and Girls Inc. Funding for the
busing and instructions comes from donations
to the fund. The effort has been led primarily
by a gift from Keith and Linda Monda, local
philanthropists, who want to ensure that all of
our kids are safe around water. It is wonderful
that the Manasota Chapter can be part of

More than 50 FSPA Manasota Chapter
members and their guests enjoyed the Pig
Roast at sunset on October 11 at Turtle Beach.
It was a blast! Everyone was fully stuffed
with delicious pork, oysters, clams and all the
