This week marked the first interim committee week in Tallahassee, as well
as the swearing in of Gov. Scott, for his second term in office. As committees
started holding preliminary meetings, bills continued to be filed. Legislators
will return to Tallahassee for interim committee meetings the week of January
19, as well as the first three weeks in February. During this time more bills will
be filed, in preparation for the March 3 session start date.
