Pool pumps included in September tax
holiday
May 12 Gov. Scott signed the Electrical Power
or Energy bill HB 5601 into law. Included in the bill
is a sales tax holiday on energy-saving appliances,
including Energy Star Pool Pumps. The holiday is
September 19-21 and it applies to the first $1,500
of the sales price for a new ENERGY STAR product
or WaterSense product.
